BreastFest Baltimore
Mother's Federal Hill Grille
An event that invites us to celebrate life, celebrate survivors, and remember those who have died.
We are five sisters, Anne, Megan, Bridget (twins), Sara and Katie, who lost our mom to breast cancer when we were 24, 21, 15 and 12 years old. In order to prevent this same fate for other women, children and families we started BreastFest.
One out of eight women will get breast cancer in their lifetime. Breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths in women ages 40-55. Early detection is the key in preventing these deaths and ensuring health and wellness. The first steps of early detection are education and awareness.
